As the UEFA EURO 2024 and the CONMEBOL American Cup 2024 coming to their end and crowning Spain and Argentina as champions of their respective continents, we have gathered the most visited and best reviews soccer stadiums.

In TourReview we specialize in the management of online reviews through two different products, the Review Collector -that compiles online reviews for tour operators– and the Review Master -which centralizes and analyzes online reviews from OTAs-.

Therefore, we extracted the best reviewed stadiums in Europe and the Americas, focusing on Germany, Spain and Argentina. The data was ranked by comparing and analyzing the volume of reviews and the general score. The rankings are impartially classified based on visitor reviews. These stadiums attract a great number of tourists because of their events, from soccer matches to concerts and even the F1, however, several of them also have tours through a small museum about the home teams and the dressing rooms.

Germany, the host country for the UEFA EURO 2024, ranked the Signal Iduna Park -home to one of Germany’s strongest and most internationally recognized soccer teams, BVB Borussia Dortmund – as the most reviewed and visited stadium. It hosted the EURO 2024 semi-final between England and the Netherlands (2-1). Surprisingly, the legendary Allianz Arena came in third, dethroned by Borussia Park Mönchengladbach. The Allianz Arena also hosted the semifinal between Spain and France (2-1).

As seen in the data, Spain also wins the first place with one of its most famous stadiums, the Spotify Camp Nou for FC Barça. The Spotify Camp Nou has been under renovation for a few months, but it is still one of the most visited and best reviewed stadiums. As a result, the city’s tour buses still stop at the stadium for tourists to see it. The same happened to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, but since the reopening it is just starting a magnetic phase that attracts fans to see the new version, nevertheless it is still among the top 3 stadiums in Spain.

The Americas’ ranking of the best and most reviewed stadiums

In the Americas, the country with the most visited stadiums is Brazil with 4 in the top 10. Mexico follows with 3 in the top 10. However, the most visited and best reviewed stadium is the famous Maracaná Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, where history has been made on several occasions, such as the mythical “Maracanazo” in 1950 and Pelé’s 1000th goal in 1969.

This year’s CONMEBOL Copa América was held in the United States, and the best-reviewed stadium was AT&T Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The most interesting stadium, however, was the venue for the final between Argentina and Colombia (1-0) at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, where many people entered the stadium through the air vents without tickets and broke through the entrance fences just to watch the game.

Argentina’s ranking of the best and most reviewed stadiums

Second place for the continent went to this year’s CONMEBOL champions, Argentina, with one of its most famous stadiums, “La Bombonera”. It is said that it got its name from the snacks that the original architect, Viktor Sulčič, took to every meeting about the project. The stadium is actually famous for its mythical matches between Argentina’s two biggest teams, Club Atlético Boca Juniors and Club Atlético River Plate. The Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti, home of Club Atlético River Plate, was ranked second in the country.
